Delivery of Accredited Training Courses and Accredited Trainers

The following information outlines the basic requirements for accredited trainers and course providers delivering training at all levels of the current official MSP accredited training program.

General Rules for Accredited Trainers

All trainers are be subject to assessment by APMG, and need to have successfully met the eligibility criteria as detailed below. All trainers also undergo regular surveillance visits and routine interviews.

In some instances ATOs may choose to licence materials, trainers and/or a QMS from another source. In instances where this is the case, APMG will ensure that the licensed aspect of the requirement has been assessed in accordance with the normal rules. In the instance of licensing trainers, only those training courses for the product for which they are certified for can be delivered.

ATOs are also able to train individuals working for any Affiliate organisations they may work with, to the appropriate standard to become approved trainers. All trainers working on behalf of the Affiliate must be assessed by APMG who has accredited the ATO to the same standard as the trainers working for the ATO.

Brokers / Resellers cannot have their own trainers and course materials, or provide training or order examination papers.
